چکیده

Abstract Using Monte Carlo model of biological evolution we have discovered that populations can switch between two different strategies of their genomes’ evolution; Darwinian purifying selection and complementing the haplotypes. The first one is exploited in the large panmictic populations while the second one in the small highly inbred populations. The choice depends on the crossover frequency. There is a power law relation between the critical value of crossover frequency and the size of panmictic population. Under the constant inbreeding this critical value of crossover does not depend on the population size and has a character of phase transition. Close to this value sympatric speciation is observed.

Human evolution, life history theory, and the end of biological reproduction.

Throughout primate history there have been three major life history transitions towards increasingly delayed sexual maturation and biological reproduction, as well as towards extended life expectancy. Monkeys reproduce later and live longer than do prosimians, apes reproduce later and live longer than do monkeys, and humans reproduce later and live longer than do apes. These life history transi...

Quantum Mechanics and the Mechanism of Sexual Reproduction

There are many claims that quantum mechanics plays a key role in the origin and/or operation of biological organisms. The mechanism of the meiosis, mitosis and gametes life cycle from the view-point of quantum for human has been represented. The quantum gates have been used to simulate these processes for the first time. The reason of several hundred sperms has been explained in the male too

What do isogamous organisms teach us about sex and the two sexes?

Isogamy is a reproductive system where all gametes are morphologically similar, especially in terms of size. Its importance goes beyond specific cases: to this day non-anisogamous systems are common outside of multicellular animals and plants, they can be found in all eukaryotic super-groups, and anisogamous organisms appear to have isogamous ancestors. Furthermore, because maleness is synonymo...

The effect of nano transition metals on microstructure and phase evolution of low carbon MgO-C refractories

In the present study, the effect of Iron Nitrate as catalytic precursor to in situ formation of nano-Fe particles in phenolic resin and microstructural evolution of MgO-C refractories has been investigated. Therefore, various samples according to matrix section formulation of low carbon MgO-C refractories (LCMCR’s) with 0 and 6 wt% (Fe/Phenolic resin) were prepared and phase and microstructure ...
